Former TBS Champion Willow Nightingale has officially confirmed her re-signing with AEW, following <a href="https://wrestlingworld.co/news/willow-nightingale-reportedly-re-signs-with-aew-on-multi-year-deal">reports last week</a> that the 31-year-old had agreed to a new deal. 



In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Nightingale expressed her enthusiasm for staying with the company. She praised AEW’s global partnerships with CMLL and NJPW, highlighting the opportunity to wrestle internationally while maintaining a steady TV presence.

“That is true, yes. I am happy where I am. I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish. But also, I’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing.”

Nightingale noted how AEW’s structure allows her to evolve her craft across styles.

She is currently embroiled in a feud with Marina Shafir and is expected to join Team Swerve in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. Her presence continues to be a vital part of AEW’s growing women’s division.
