- WWE Hall of fame Class of 2018 inductee, Bill Goldberg appeared on Wednesday‘s episode of ABC’s hit comedy, “The Goldbergs”. The former WWE Universal Champion reprised the role of high school coach, Nick Mellor, a role which he has played twice in the past.
“I felt like I was at home. Everywhere I turned, I saw my name,” Goldberg said, laughing in a phone interview on returning to the show. “It gave me an opportunity to show the lighter side of Goldberg.”
Goldberg, on being further asked about a potential return to WWE by PAHomepage, said,
“Do I want to roll the dice again? I don’t know.
I’ll quote one of the most famous movies that I was ever in, ‘Santa’s Slay’: It ain’t over ’til I say it’s over.”
The 51-year old former WCW Champion is widely regarded as one of the baddest men in pro wrestling history. At WrestleMania 33, Goldberg lost the WWE Universal Championship in a match against Brock Lesnar, which stands as his last in the WWE so far.
