The New Day Will Battle Rusev And Shinsuke Nakamura At Fastlane

WWE Fastlane takes place this weekend and it appears that it isn’t too late for WWE to continue to make additions to the card.

It was revealed earlier today that Big E and Xavier Woods will take on Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura on Sunday night but their team mate Kofi Kingston still hasn’t been given another match after being screwed out of his WWE Championship match a few weeks ago.

This match is scheduled to be part of the kickoff show along with Andrade vs Rey Mysterio.

It will be interesting to see how this match pans out since it’s been a while since Nakamura was given a pay-per-view match and after Rusev’s recent comments about leaving WWE, he could be given a push like many other stars who have hinted that they could be leaving WWE.

WWE’s Original WrestleMania Main Event Plans Revealed?

WrestleMania takes place next month and while the main event is already planned out now and will seemingly include Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, it appears that WWE had some other plans.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, WWE’s original WrestleMania main event saw Rousey defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair in a singles match, while Roman Reigns’ Universal title defense would have been the other recognized main event.

Now Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar will battle it out for the Universal Championship instead since Roman Reigns hasn’t been given a match at the biggest event of the year just yet.

The Raw Women’s Championship match could still be a singles match between Flair and Rousey if Lynch is unable to defeat The Queen to win back her main event opportunity that she had when she won the Women’s Royal Rumble.
