WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on June 7th, as part of a show that is yet to be named, but three legendary stars have already been unveiled for the show.
Every time WWE travel to The Middle East, The Prince asks for a number of stars to perform as part of the show and it appears that the big name this time around will be Goldberg, who hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 33 when he was defeated by Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker have been announced as part of the show which will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in just a months time. According to the official announcement on WWE.com, other names who will be part of the show include WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Universal Champion Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and most interestingly Roman Reigns.
“RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA and STAMFORD, Conn. —The Saudi General Sports Authority, in partnership with WWE, will host an event at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday, June 7, at 8 p.m. AST. The event will feature WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Goldberg, AJ Styles and Brock Lesnar, and stream live on WWE Network.”
Reigns missed Crown Jewel last year when it was revealed that he was struggling with a leukemia diagnosis, but it was reported that he had already informed WWE officials that he refused to travel to The Middle East for Crown Jewel ahead of the announcement.
No matches have been made official for the show as of yet, but following Money in the Bank the company will have just two weeks to push towards the show and then two weeks afterwards to build towards WWE Stomping Grounds which was announced last week.
