WWE Announces Two More Matches For Extreme Rules

Last night’s Monday Night Raw was the final stop for the red brand on the road to this weekend’s Extreme Rules event. While the show was dominated by speculation surrounding Roman Reigns’ mystery opponent for the main event, there were a number of other interesting talking points coming out of last night’s show.

It was revealed that Ricochet would be putting his United States Championship on the line against AJ Styles after being attacked by The Club two weeks in a row. Styles’ heel turn has been quite an interesting change in recent weeks and this weekend the leader of The Club could leave Philadelphia with the United States Championship.

Styles’ match wasn’t the only one announced as part of last night’s show since WWE made the shock reveal that Braun Strowman would be returning to WWE just a week after he put Bobby Lashley through the stage on Raw and suffered a separated pelvis.

Lashley answered Rey Mysterio’s open challenge and completely dominated the former World Champion before it was revealed that he would be battling The Monster Among Men on Sunday night in a Last Man Standing Match.

Nikki Cross beat the clock in order to help Alexa Bliss to choose the stipulation for her match against Bayley at Extreme Rules and decided that she would add herself to the match. This means that Bayley will be up against it in a handicap match against both Cross and Bliss this weekend with her SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line.

It’s also worth noting that Undertaker didn’t appear to help Roman Reigns last night in New Jersey, which means that he retains his place in this weekend’s match since it was former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander who tried to help The Big Dog, but his efforts were in vain.
