Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins back at Extreme Rules in the first-ever televised Intercontinental Championship Ironman match but The Kingslayer revealed this past week on RAW that he was challenging Ziggler for his Championship once again at SummerSlam next month in what has so far been billed to be a one-on-one match.

Rollins pinned Ziggler in a tag team match on Raw last week that also included Finn Balor and Drew McIntyre, which earned him another shot at the title but many fans wondered how the two men would be able to top their 30-minute match from Extreme Rules earlier this month.

WrestleVotes on Twitter noted that according to their sources, WWE has plans to change one of the matches that had already been announced for SummerSlam, but warned fans that it wasn’t Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns, instead it was The Architect vs The Showoff.

It is unknown what is meant by this Tweet since more details have not been shared at this time, but the likely options that WWE have are to add another superstar to the matchup in the coming weeks or another stipulation could be added much like in their Ironman match. The issue that WWE has right now is that Ziggler and Rollins have to top their match from Extreme Rules, a match that the WWE Universe managed to ruin in their own way.

Rollins stated that the crowd’s constant counting affected Ziggler and this could be why WWE has decided to give the two stars a rematch so that Rollins and Ziggler can steal the show in a way that only two of the best stars in the company can.
