WWE Debating On Shield Reunion Match At Fastlane

Roman Reigns made headlines as he returned to Monday Night RAW this week after putting leukemia in remission.

Reigns and Seth Rollins made a major tease of a potential Shield reunion while rescuing Dean Ambrose from a heavy beatdown on RAW.

Post Wrestling reports that WWE is currently debating on whether The Shield should be booked in a 3 vs. 3 match or an 8-Man Tag Team encounter at Fastlane.

Braun Strowman (babyface) and Elias (heel) could be inserted to make it a 4 vs. 4 bout.

“It has been debated back-and-forth and as of Monday night, they were unsure what option they would go with. I was not told when the match would take place.”

The Shield vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley is the working idea for a 6-Man Tag Team showdown.

Matt Hardy Worked Fans After WWE’s Decision To Extend Contract

The Hardy Boyz made their much-awaited return this week on SmackDown Live.

While Jeff Hardy has been working on a regular basis, Matt Hardy had to sit on the sidelines for over 9 months due to his back fusing with his pelvis.

The brothers reunited after almost a year as they defeated The Bar in stellar fashion on Tuesday night.

What’s interesting about The Hardyz’ comeback is that Matt had recently stated that he had less than two weeks left on his contract and would become a free agent on expiry of the said deal.

It appears that The Woken One has been working us all, as revealed by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“So I know he was teasing that he’s gonna be a free agent in like a week or so, but WWE had already picked up the option [for a third year] and he knew that way back.”
