The ThunderDome at the Amway Center is WWE’s new home for all RAW, SmackDown and PPV tapings. And with the latest move, WWE is bringing back the Draft later this year.
During a recent conference to hype NXT TakeOver: XXX, Paul “Triple H” Levesque revealed that the coveted 2020 Draft is scheduled for October.
“That definitely has changed that mindset, there is different protocols and procedures, ‘hey, we’d like to move this talent, we’d like to do that,’ and you’ll see that coming up in the Draft later in the year.”
Under the present circumstances, a roster shuffle does appear to be imminent especially considering the fact that WWE released a plethora of talents in April, NXT is now a standalone brand, and there’s a bunch of Superstars who wish to switch to the red or blue brand.
“You definitely have to think about it a lot more and think about those changes, but I think long-term, it’s better for everybody.”
According to The Game, the WWE Universe should brace themselves for the fresh mindset the company has adopted during the on-going pandemic. How this new mindset plays into the Draft is yet to be seen.
