Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville debuted together on Monday Night Raw exactly a year ago when they were Absolution teammates alongside Paige. The two women first met back in Tough Enough, a competition where Rose was the runner-up and their careers have since been side-by-side as they have moved from NXT to Raw and now reside on SmackDown Live.

The past few weeks there have been hints that there is tension between the two women and at Survivor Series on Sunday night Mandy accidentally knee’d Sonya in the face as part of the five-on-five elimination match.

Following this week’s show, WWE released an exclusive backstage video which showed Mandy Rose reminiscing about their careers together and stating that this is just the beginning before Deville responded that the difference now was that she doesn’t trust Rose anymore.

The two women have always been on the same page and now it appears that Deville has some issues with her former friend which could lead to an interesting feud on SmackDown Live.

Deville and Rose are still seen as newbies and neither woman has been able to stake her claim on anything on the blue brand over the past few months because the division is dominated by the likes of Charlotte, Asuka, and Becky.

The fact that these two women know each other better than anyone else because they have been best friends now for more than three years means that they could actually put together a show-stealing match as part of their feud.

There is a huge gap in the Women’s Division right now with Lynch and Charlotte fully focused on Ronda Rousey, which means that this feud could push one of them up the ladder towards that Women’s Championship in the future.
