WWE held a press conference on March 16 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey to officially announce that the company’s biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, WrestleMania will be returning to the home of the Giants and Jets in 2019.
WWE’s events surrounding WrestleMania 35 i.e. the Hall of Fame ceremony, NXT TakeOver, RAW and SmackDown Live are scheduled to take place at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York. WWE dropped the date for its premier event during the press conference— April 7, 2019, exactly six years to the day of WrestleMania 29 at the MetLife Stadium in 2013.
While WrestleMania 34 aired live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, WWE officially dropped the teaser for WrestleMania 35.
