WWE Edits Controversial Jerry Lawler Comments, Big Show Reveals Warning He Was Given Regarding John Cena

WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was back on commentary this week on Raw and he made a big mistake. The King called Akira Tozawa’s moonsault a Ramen Noodle Moonsault during his match against Austin Theory and the WWE Universe has reacted negatively regarding the comment.

WWE obviously thought that there was something in this since the company edited out the comment on their Hulu replay. King himself asked to be part of this week’s episode of Raw, despite being told to self-isolate, it will be interesting to see if he’s behind the desk again next week for Raw.

Meanwhile, The Big Show has been part of a lot of interviews over the past few weeks since the former World Champion’s Netflix show called The Big Show Show has become a huge hit on the streaming site. Show hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since he lost to Drew McIntyre in the dark match following this year’s WrestleMania where he was defeated by the new WWE Champion.

That being said, Show still made an appearance on The Bump this week where he was able to recall his match with John Cena back at WrestleMania 20. Big Show was the United States Champion at the time and took on John Cena, at the time Cena was up and coming in the company and according to Show he was considered to be a “Flash in the Pan.”

“That day I had about eight little private meetings where all these guys were telling me why I shouldn’t work with this kid because he’s a flash in the pan, he’s this, he’s that, and I’m like, ‘No, I think there’s something more to the guy.’ And years later now those same people that questioned him line up to shake his hand, tell him how amazing he is.”
