“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan hasn’t been seen in WWE for a number of years, but he is still seen as one of the biggest legends since his name is the one most associated with the annual Royal Rumble as the first ever winner back in 1988.

Duggan has been part of some memorable WWE storylines over the past few years since he appears sporadically for WWE, but the last time he wrestled for WWE was back in July 2012 when he teamed with Sgt. Slaughter and Santino Marella to face Hunico, Camacho, and Drew McIntyre.

Duggan is a legend who is called back to the company when needed for nostalgic segments, but he gave the WWE Universe quite a scare earlier today when he posted the following Instagram update which sees him in a hospital bed.

The above update states that Duggan was in the ICU for Thanksgiving, but he is now in good spirits and looking forward to getting out of the hospital this weekend. Duggan still wrestles regularly on the Independent Circuit and it appears that he is most upset about the fact that he will miss his upcoming show on Saturday.

There are no details on why the WWE Hall of Famer was hospitalized or why it was serious enough for him to be in the ICU, but it’s great news that he had his family around him during the holidays and will now be discharged from the hospital in less than 24 hours.

Everyone at WrestlingWorld would like to wish Jim Duggan the best of luck in his recovery and hope that he will be back in the ring where he belongs in no time.
