Randy Orton equaled Triple H’s World Championship reign haul at Hell in a Cell after he was able to defeat Drew McIntyre and walk out as the WWE Champion.
Orton vs McIntyre was the main event for this year’s show, despite there being three matches inside the cell on the card.
This was also the third time Orton and McIntyre had collided on pay-per-view in recent months, but it was still a show-stealing match.
The two men left it all in the ring as they fought before the bell and proved that there was no love left between them.
Despite the brutality of the match, there was only ever going to be one winner after McIntyre took a fall off the Hell in a Cell cage and through the table.
The WWE Champion still continued and looked to end the match with his patented Claymore, but Orton had it well scouted and after missing the move, he was in position to deliver an RKO.
The win means that The Viper is now a 14-time World Champion and is tied with Triple H, but is now within two Championship wins of the record held by both Ric Flair and John Cena.
