<p>One half of the WWE tag team The Viking Raiders, Erik, has announced that he has had surgery on his arm.</p>



<p>Erik announced on Twitter that he had just had surgery to remove a surgical screw from his arm. This was something that he said he had been putting off for some time.</p>

<p>While he didn’t specify when he had the screw that had been bothering put in, it should be noted that Erik had been involved in a serious motorcycle accident back in 2014. The surgical screw could have been put in to help with the injuries he incurred then.</p>



<p>Erik had the surgery done at the Andrews Sports Medicine &amp; Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas.</p>



<p>His tag team partner Ivar, who suffered an on-air injury on Raw, also reported recently that he had <a href="https://api.wrestlingworld.co/news/wwe-injury-update-ivar-undergoes-successful-neck-surgery/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">successful neck surgery</a> at the same clinic but with Dr. Andrew Cardover.</p>



<p>Ivar has been absent from WWE television since his injury while, without his tag team partner, Erik has mostly stuck to wrestling on WWE Main Event and on Raw Underground.</p>



<p>Erik was last seen on WWE TV during last week’s Main Event, where he wrestled and lost to Riddick Moss. Moss himself has also just revealed that he has been <a href="https://api.wrestlingworld.co/news/riddick-moss-wrestling-injured-for-months/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">wrestling injured</a>.</p>
