WWE legend Big Van Vader revealed to his fans on Twitter on March 12, 2018 that he had undergone heart surgery.
According to the DailyStar, the doctors had earlier reported that Vader’s heart is scheduled to fail before 2019.
Standing at 6ft 5in, the 62-year old who was a powerhouse in the WWE from 1996 to 1998 said, “Going in the hospital in the Am for heart surgery wish me luck and my Dr a good night’s rest”.
Vader, who is famous for his groundbreaking “Vadersault” despite weighing a massive 450 lbs, revealed in 2016 that doctors believe his “heart is worn out”. The wrestling megastar further said that he accepted his potentially short time left as now “part of reality”.
WWE Hall Of Famer, Jim Ross also wished Vader for a better health. “Fight through it, Leon! We’re pulling for you Big Man.”
