WWE Makes Big Changes To Upcoming Starrcade Card

Starrcade will make its return as a WWE event on November 24th, even though at present it is unclear as to whether or not WWE will be streaming the show, which is live from Cincinnati, Ohio on the WWE Network.

When the show was originally announced a few months ago, there were a number of matches that the company advertised which worked with the storylines that were taking place on WWE TV. These have since changed, which means that WWE has updated the card for the even to reflect the changes according to PWInsider.

The current card now sees hometown star Dean Ambrose take on Seth Rollins in a Street Fight for the Intercontinental Championship and AJ Styles takes on Samoa Joe in a steel cage for the WWE Championship. Becky Lynch’s SmackDown Women’s Championship defense against Charlotte remains unchanged as the two women also battle inside a steel cage, whilst Braun Strowman will now be in a handicap match against both Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.

The Bar and The New Day collide for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in a match that will be a rehash of today’s Crown Jewel Championship match, whilst Rey Mysterio will garner his shot at the United States Championship when he goes one on one with Shinsuke Nakamura.

The show takes place on Saturday, November 24th, which is just under a week after the one night of the year that SmackDown and Raw go head to head at Survivor Series.
