As reported earlier, the WWE TLC Pay-Per-View will not take place in October. The show was initially scheduled to take place in Boston but WWE is now advertising a combined Raw/Smackdown Supershow for October 21, 2018.

PWInsider reports that TLC has been pushed to December 16th and will replace Clash of Champions. The TLC Pay-Per-View in December will take place in San Jose, California.

The move was likely made because WWE will be running the Super Show-Down event from the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia which makes sense for not holding another Pay-Per-View in the same month. As of this writing, WWE doesn’t have anything listed on their website for December which indicates that this switch was made recently, likely when Super Show-Down  for Australia was confirmed.
