According to PWInsider, WWE officials visited The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a New York City complex that proudly houses the Metropolitan Opera, The New York Philharmonic, The New York Ballet and more.
It appears that Vince McMahon is looking to ramp things up by picking historic venues for WrestleMania week next year.
WWE still hasn’t booked any location for the 2018 AXXESS event. It is to be noted that the theatrical set-up of the venues in The Lincoln Center Complex will not allow for such a convention-style event.
It is speculated that WWE is potentially eyeing the The Lincoln Center for its annual presentation meeting with partners and licensees, the jobs fair for military veterans or maybe for another new event.
