WWE Money In The Bank: Asuka and Otis are The 2020 Money In The Bank Contract Winners

It was perhaps one of the craziest matches that WWE has ever created as twelve WWE stars made their way through headquarters in Stamford. The match included a food fight and a number of cameos from the likes of Bruce Prichard, John Laurinaitis and even WWE Chairman himself Vince McMahon.

Carmella received a Women’s Right, while Nia Jax was knocked out with a chair and Shayna Baszler locked in the Kirofuda Clutch on Rey Mysterio. The fight boiled over onto the roof and saw Asuka, Nia Jax, and Lacey Evans battle it out in the floodlights before it was the 2018 Royal Rumble winner who climbed the ladder and took down the contract.

It wasn’t plain sailing for the Women’s Tag Team Champion though since she had to kick King Corbin off the ladder first because he appeared at the last minute and tried to take her down and prevent her from taking the women’s briefcase.

Otis made his way to the roof as soon as Asuka had taken the contact. Otis made his way to the ring and the battle was on for the men’s contract. Both Rey Mysterio and Aleister Black were thrown off the roof of Titan Tower, which left Corbin and Styles to battle it out for the contract.

Unsurprisingly, Elias made his return and screwed over Corbin as the two men battled over the case, but after he hit The King with the guitar, the contract was sent flying and Otis was in position to catch it and become Mr. Money in the Bank.

Otis has already mentioned that he could cash in the contract on the Tag Team Championships alongside his partner Tucker which would be the first time in history that the contract has not been cashed in on a World Championship.
