The Survivor Series go-home edition of WWE NXT ended in an all-out brawl as Superstars from all brands were hell-bent on proving their supremacy heading into Sunday’s pay-per-view. The show was headlined by a non-title ladder match between NXT Champion Adam Cole and Dominic Dijakovic.
The ladder was introduced quickly as Cole went after Dijakovic’s surgically repaired knee to take him down to size. Just as Cole was climbing the ladder, Dijakovic chokeslammed him into the other ladder propped up in the corner. The big man gained momentum and knocked the champ out cold with his injured knee. Dijakovic limped to the top of the ladder but Cole recovered.
The sly Undisputed ERA leader ran up the ladder and launched the briefcase onto Dijakovic’s head, causing the big guy to crash into another propped up ladder. Cole unbuckled the briefcase for the win, thus earning his team the advantage at WarGames.
Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong walked out to celebrate but were ambushed by The Revival, Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura, The Viking Raiders, The Street Profits and Zack Ryder on the stage. The RAW, SmackDown and NXT Superstars then engaged in a massive brawl.
Drew McIntyre entered the ring and blasted Dijakovic with a Claymore Kick. The Scottish Psychopath was powerbombed by Keith Lee seconds later. Ivar then confronted Blackzilla in the middle of the ring.
Instead of exchanging blows, both men flew to the outside and took everybody out. The ever-opportunist Cole entered the ring and was superkicked by Seth Rollins. The Beastslayer called for a Curb Stomp but Tommaso Ciampa‘s music hit and it was time for the former NXT Champions to settle the score.
Rollins and Ciampa went at each other as NXT went off the air. However, their hostilities continued even after the show was over. Each man took his turn to decimate the Undisputed ERA.
