WWE NXT: Fatal Four Way Iron Man Match for NXT Championship Ends in a Tie

WWE NXT took place on Tuesday night this week, as the show was pre-empted due to the NHL playoffs on USA Network.

NXT Super Tuesday had a massive Fatal Four Way Iron Man Match as its main event, to determine the new NXT Champion, with four former champions Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, Adam Cole, and Tommaso Ciampa competing to hold the top title yet again.

The match had a lot of action with all the four superstars showcasing why they are at top of the card, with Balor and Cole securing two pins each to end the match in a tie.

William Regal announced a Sudden Death match between the two for next week’s edition of NXT Super Tuesday.

The NXT Championship was vacated last week after Karrion Kross was forced to relinquish the title following a separated shoulder, just three days after he won the title at Takeover XXX against Keith Lee.

All the four competitors had one pin each before Cole and Balor picked up points in the final few seconds of the 60-minute encounter.

Balor won the title in 2015, while Cole won the title last year. Both the stars had long reigns with the championship in their first reign, and the winner next week will join Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe as the only two-time holders of the title.
