Io Shirai begins her reign

At TakeOver: In Your House, Io Shirai defeated Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley to become the new NXT Women’s Champion.

Tonight, the Genius of the Sky will begin her maiden reign and usher in a new era in the women’s division on the black and gold brand. A grand celebration is likely considering how the PPV wrapped up this past Sunday.

However, Shirai must look over her shoulder as there are serious threats awaiting her from hereon.

Adam Cole battles Dexter Lumis in a non-title match

Longest reigning NXT Champion Adam Cole enjoyed a successful title defense against Velveteen Dream this past Sunday at TakeOver. However, any celebration Cole had planned will be put on hold as Dexter Lumis eagerly look forward to humble The Panama City Playboy.

In recent weeks, Lumis has proven to be a nightmare for The Undisputed ERA and also made his presence felt when he dumped Roderick Strong and Bobby Fish into the trunk of a car during Cole’s Backlot Brawl with Dream.

Will Cole be at his 100% tonight? Or will Lumis capitalise and extend his dominance over the heel faction?

Finn Balor seeks retribution against Cameron Grimes

Finn Balor humbled Damian Priest this past Sunday at TakeOver and will be looking to do the same when he squares off with Cameron Grimes tonight on NXT.

Last month, Grimes defeated Balor to mark the latter’s only loss this year. With a dirty assist from Priest, Grimes was able to knock Balor out cold with a devastating Cave-In.

The Prince will be looking to settle the score when he meets the Technical Savage in the squared circle tonight. For what it’s worth, Balor has been unstoppable since returning to NXT, but at the same time, Grimes has enjoyed an undefeated run of his own.

Which Superstar will walk away with the victory tonight on NXT?
