In the first round match of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, WWE United Kingdom Champion, Pete Dune almost had the match won with an Ex-Plex but it was broken up. Finally, Strong pinned Burch with a release suplex into a backbreaker.

  • NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon defeated Aliyah  in a non-title match

With a couple of weeks away to defend her title against Shayna Baszler at TakeOver: New Orleans, NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon delivered The Eclipse to Aliyah to secure the pinfall in a non-title match with Baszler present as a guest commentator at the ringside.


 

  • NXT Champion Andrade “Cien” Adams called out Aleister Black, calling him a piece of sh*t after what he said about him and Zelina Vega last week. However, Black didn’t turn up as he was not present at the show.

 

  • Adam Cole defeated Kassius Ohno

In the main event, Adam Cole hit The Last Shot  (Shining Wizard) on Ohno to secure the victory on the road to TakeOver. Cole won the match all by himself as the leader of the Undisputed Era left the reigning NXT Tag Team Champion, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly backstage before the match began.
