It was reported several months ago that WWE had signed former Australian Rugby League star Daniel Vidot.
Now, WWE has officially unveiled the signing of the NRL speedster along with six other new recruits under development contracts.

The 28-year old rugby star had a WWE tryout way back in 2015 and was also offered a 3-year deal by the wrestling promotion. Vidot declined the offer on the ground that he would sign the development deal only after his rugby contract expires. Vidot took part in another tryout in October, 2017.
Vidot will don the “Samoan Ghost” gimmick which has been inspired by his Samoan heritage.
On the other hand, former IMPACT Wrestling star Chelsea Green has confirmed inking a development contract with WWE.
The rumors of Green signing a deal with the largest wrestling promotion in the world spread like wildfire last week after she was spotted training at the Performance Center in Orlando.

27-year old Green has been in the professional wrestling industry since 2014. She is widely popular for her stint with IMPACT under the ring name Laurel Van Ness. Green made her Lucha Underground debut this past February and also competed at ALL IN on September 1. Green is a former IMPACT Knockouts Champion.
Although there’s no word on when Green will make her NXT debut, she is among the seven new recruits namely Daniel Vidot, Matt Riddle, Mia Yim, Humberto Carrillo, Luis “Punishment” Martinez and Jordan Omogbehin.
Riddle debuted at the latest NXT TV tapings (October 17, 2018) and as per storyline indications, the former MMA star is set to face Kassius Ohno at NXT Takeover: WarGames II.
