Keith Lee made his debut on Monday Night Raw just six days ago and after he interrupted Randy Orton and made his presence known, he was handed a match against The Viper at Payback.
Lee changed his theme and his attire upon his main roster debut and it’s been claimed that this will now be a clean slate for The Limitless One following a successful stint in NXT where he was both North American and NXT Champion.
Lee faced off against the 13-time World Champion and seemed to have an answer to all of The Legend Killer’s attacks until Orton looked to hit his RKO finisher and Lee found a way to counter into The Spirit Bomb.
Orton was then pinned by Lee in what was the biggest shock of the night and is a clear message that Keith Lee has a bright future in the company.
This also means that Orton has been pinned twice in the space of a week after going on a Legend Killing run for the best part of the year.
What do these losses now mean for Orton, who is rumored to be facing off against Edge at next year’s WrestleMania when the Rated R Superstar is ready to make his return. What does this mean for his feud with Drew McIntyre over the WWE Championship?
