WWE Performance Center Recruits Set to Receive New Ring Names

WWE has recently filed a bunch of new trademarks that look like they are going to be used as ring names.

Some of these ring names already seem to have been given to Performance Center recruits, which could mean that these recruits are on the verge of being introduced to a wider WWE audience.

The trademarks that were filed on October 20 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office include Akeem Young, Ivy Nile, Xyon Quinn, Tony Modra, and Odyssey Jones.

The applications are for use in “entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.”

Judging by changes that have been made to some social media accounts of Performance Center recruits, it looks like these ring names have already been claimed.

Daniel Vidot, who was a classmate of Raw’s Mia Yim and Matt Riddle, is using Xyon Quinn. Omari Palmer, who was in the same class as current NXT talent Cameron Grimes, and Dexter Lumis is now Odyssey Jones. Meanwhile, Sidney Bateman is now Akeem Young while Ivy Nile and Tony Modra are as of yet “unidentified”.
