Shawn Michaels officially announced that he would be returning to action at WWE Crown Jewel on November 2nd as part of last night’s episode of Raw, but it appears that there are some huge plans for the WWE Hall of Famer in the coming months.

The Heartbreak Kid is currently embroiled in a feud with Undertaker and Kane but after their tag team match at Crown Jewel and the follow-up singles match between Michaels and The Deadman that is rumored to be taking place at Survivor Series, there could be room for some fantasy matches between Michaels and a few members of the current WWE roster.

WrestleVotes is currently reporting that WWE could now be looking to keep Michaels around heading into WrestleMania season next year but there is no news yet on who would be given the opportunity to step in the ring with one of the best in the business.

There were rumors earlier this years that WWE was planning to have Shawn Michaels take on AJ Styles before Seth Rollins then stated that he would love to take on HBK in a one-on-one match as well.

This means that there are a number of fantasy matches that could be booked for next year’s WrestleMania since Michaels is considered to be one of the best wrestlers in history so there wouldn’t be a shortage of stars lining up to face the WWE Hall of Famer.

Michaels hasn’t been in the ring as a superstar since he lost to The Undertaker back at WrestleMania more than eight years ago, which means that his return match at Crown Jewel will be a huge one for him and will answer all of the questions concerning whether or not he has still got it.
