Shawn Michaels made a special appearance on RAW last night to build up the last ever match between Triple H and The Undertaker where he stated that his long-time friend Triple H would come out on top.
Obviously, The Deadman wasn’t happy with the fact that Michaels was overlooking the fact that he was still a threat without his WrestleMania streak.
Undertaker made a surprise appearance to respond to Michaels’ claims but the entire segment turned into what seemed to be a promo for a match between The Deadman and the WWE Hall of Famer.
Michaels lost to Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 more than eight years ago and has stuck to his word ever since which is why he hasn’t returned to WWE for another wrestling match. The former World Champion reiterated that he wanted to remain retired out of respect for The Undertaker who was the man who retired him all those years ago.
Undertaker responded that he didn’t think it was respect that was keeping Michaels out of the ring, he thinks it is fear. There has been speculation in recent weeks that Michaels could be added as the special guest referee for the match between the two men, much like the last time they faced off at WrestleMania 28 but that is yet to be confirmed.
WrestleVotes confirmed that Shawn Michaels’ future is unclear right now but WWE wants the WWE Universe to be talking about this match to add to the hype surrounding the Australian Super Show-Down on October 6th.
Getting a lot of questions about Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker. I don’t know if HBK is going to wrestle again, & if anyone says they do, they are lying. No one knows, YET. The angle last night however was strong. And WWE KNEW it would get people talking. So that’s that.

Michaels will definitely be in attendance for Super Show-Down and since this is the only time The Undertaker will be on WWE TV in the coming weeks, if there is a future match on the cards then the build will begin here.
