This week on Raw, Alexa Bliss announced that she would be part of the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match, which would allow her to face the Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania if victorious.
The former 5-time Champion wrestled Asuka in the main event of Raw, where she was able to prove that she is still Women’s Champion material.
Bliss underwent a dramatic transformation mid-match where she changed her hair, make-up, and clothes which allowed to her take the psychological advantage over The Empress of Tomorrow.
Following the change, Bliss began adopting The Fiend’s move-set including his stretch in the corner followed by an attempt at the Mandible Claw.
Asuka put up a decent fight and proved why she was the Women’s Champion, but in the end, it was Bliss who was able to send the message to the Champion by delivering an impressive Sister Abigail.
This now means that Bliss could be handed a Women’s Championship match ahead of Royal Rumble, but the former Champion still has unfinished business with Randy Orton who was showing off the injuries from her attack this week on Raw.
Will The Viper become a thorn in Alexa Bliss’ side ahead of Royal Rumble next weekend?
