WWE RAW: Becky Lynch Announces Women’s Championship Match For Royal Rumble, Potential Return Feud Teased For Liv Morgan

While Charlotte Flair was busy looking forward to the 30-woman over-the-top-rope Royal Rumble match by announcing her official participation in the third annual match, last year’s winner Becky Lynch was looking ahead to her RAW Women’s Championship match. The Man officially informed Kayla Braxton as part of a backstage segment that she will be defending her Championship against one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka.

The two women have had a number of issues over the past few weeks and it appears that they will finally settle the score at Royal Rumble on January 26th when Lynch puts her RAW Women’s Championship on the line against the longest-reigning NXT Women’s Champion Asuka.

Someone who is looking to make an impact in the Women’s Division in the coming weeks is the returning Liv Morgan, who has been part of a number of revealing vignettes in recent weeks. The former Riott Squad member stated that she would be changing her look back in the summer, but has only recently started to make strides towards a return.

This week the latest tease stated that Morgan had already targetted someone and there was a time when she would have acted on impulse but the new version of the star is much more methodical and instead has been waiting. Morgan then claimed that she was ready, before asking the WWE Universe if they were.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley responded to this on Twitter by stating that she was ready, which could be a tease when it comes to Morgan’s return, even though Bayley is on the opposite brand.

Bayley and Morgan could both be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match on January 26th if Morgan is able to make her return to the RAW roster in time for the Women’s third annual match.
