Bianca Belair was promoted to the main roster at WrestleMania back in April when she helped her real-life husband Montez Ford to overcome the numbers game when Zelina Vega looked to interfere in the match between The Street Profits, Austin Theory and Angel Garza.
Belair then stepped into a short feud with Vega and had a few matches on Raw in April, before disappearing from WWE TV. The former NXT star was reportedly being kept off TV because creative had nothing for her in the Women’s Division. Interestingly, this was the same reason given for Shayna Baszler’s recent WWE absence.
Interestingly, just days out from this weekend’s Horror Show at Extreme Rules, The EST of WWE made her return to Raw as the partner of Ruby Riott in her match against The IIconics.
In recent weeks, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce have both been able to defeat the former Riott Squad leader and Liv Morgan wasn’t prepared to help her old friend out.
Belair helped Riott to pick up a much needed win over The IIconics and slotted back into the Women’s Division quite easily, but her return was definitely upstaged by the return of The Cagefighter.
Baszler interrupted the match between Akira Tozawa and R-Truth to attack all three of Tozawa’s ninja’s before both Tozawa and Truth decided to exit the ring rather than face the former NXT Women’s Champion.
Baszler then took the microphone and cut an interesting promo where she claimed that she was here to hit the WWE Universe with a huge dose of reality. She revealed that she had been waiting patiently in the background and finally she was back.
Just six days before Extreme Rules where Asuka takes on Sasha Banks, this could be a hint that The Submission Magician could be ready to challenge for that title once again.
