Bianca Belair was a surprise addition to last night’s WrestleMania when she made the save for The Street Profits after Zelina Vega involved herself in the match and targeted her husband Montez Ford. While Belair has appeared on main roster pay-per-views before, it was unclear as to whether or not Belair was gaining promotion following her involvement in The Biggest Event of the year, something that she cleared up this week on Raw.
The Street Profits took on Angel Garza and Austin Theory in a rematch from WrestleMania, which was evenly fought until Vega involved herself in the match and the referee called for the disqualification. When Vega once again targeted Ford, Belair made her way to the ring and announced that she had now moved to Monday Night Raw and challenged Vega to a one-on-one match.
Belair showed off the skills that took her to the top in NXT before Austin Theory’s involvement caused the DQ once again and a six-person tag team match then took center stage. It was then Belair who went on to pick up the win for her team when she pinned Vega following a KOD to start her main roster career off with a bang.
While Belair’s career is on the rise, one woman who is feeling the heat after WrestleMania is former NXT star Lana, who inadvertently cost her husband Bobby Lashley his match against Aleister Black at the Show of Shows when she called for a spear when he already had the match won if he had delivered the Dominator.
The momentary lapse allowed Black to compose himself and deliver Black Mass for the victory and it appears that Lashley is still blaming his wife for the loss. Tonight on Raw the storyline continued with Lashley teasing that after only a few months together he was looking for a divorce.
