The 2021 Royal Rumble takes place on January 31st, and over the next few weeks, many names are expected to announce their participation in the match.
Thirty men and women will be part of the match and while many of these will be surprise entrants and returnees, there are also places for current talent to take up.
So far, Daniel Bryan was the only man who had declared that he will officially be part of the show in four weeks’ time, but he was joined by United States Champion Bobby Lashley this week on Raw.
Lashley declared his entry, ahead of The Hurt Business’ huge victory in an eight-man tag team match, and is expected to be joined in the match by several other members of his team.
It’s interesting to note that both Bryan and Lashley are also expected to be part of Championship matches at Royal Rumble with Bryan challenging Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship while Lashley is expected to defend his Championship against Riddle.
It will be interesting to see if both men pull double duty on January 31st, or if Lashley and Riddle are given the chance to settle their differences inside the Royal Rumble match itself.
