WWE Raw: Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn Announced for Survivor Series

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw was the first step on the road to this year’s Survivor Series, and while the night was all about putting together those important Survivor Series elimination matches, there will also be several head-to-head matches.

It was made clear that NXT won’t be part of this year’s Survivor Series, despite dominating last year’s show, and the first match officially announced for Survivor Series will see Bobby Lashley take on Sami Zayn.

This is United States Champion vs Intercontinental Champion which means that the company will be following the template from last year’s show.

Matches including Asuka vs Sasha Banks and Randy Orton vs Roman Reigns are also expected to take place on November 22nd with SmackDown and Raw going head to head with bragging rights on the line.

In previous years, there have been men’s and women’s Survivor Series matches while all Champions have also gone head to head including SmackDown and Raw Tag Team Champions.

The build up to one of the biggest shows of the year is expected to continue in the coming weeks with both brands looking to put together the best teams to ensure a victory.
