Drew McIntyre took on Randy Orton for the WWE Championship just days before Survivor Series and interestingly, the Scottish star was able to reclaim his Championship.
McIntyre lost the title to Orton back at Hell in a Cell when he fell victim to an RKO, but ahead of his match on Raw, the former Champion had already laid down the groundwork against Roman Reigns.
McIntyre traveled to SmackDown on Friday night and sent a message to Reigns before claiming that he would win back his Championship on Raw, which he surprisingly did.
Ahead of the match, Sheamus gave the former Champion some of his old merchandise and allowed him to head to the ring in complete Scottish gear which looked to have brought him luck.
Randy Orton was willing to sink low to retain his Championship and even looked to be counted out, but Adam Pearce changed the match to a no disqualification match and forced it to be restarted.
McIntyre was then able to take advantage following the restart and when Randy Orton looked to deliver an RKO, he fought out and hit a Claymore to reclaim his Championship.
This means that at Survivor Series it will now be Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns.
