This week on Raw, WWE decided to book Charlotte Flair in a handicap match against The Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors, since Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch seemingly didn’t make the trip to Nashville.

Charlotte was unsuccessful in her quest to prove that she could defeat Kairi Sane and Asuka on her own, but interestingly, The Women’s Tag Team Champions finally debuted a new theme as a duo, which is much more iconic than their mashup that they had been entering the ring to over the past few months.

It also signifies the fact that the two women are now full-fledged heels since Asuka’s old theme was a catchy one that the WWE Universe used to sing along to. Of course, the Women’s Tag Team Champions weren’t the only ones to debut a new theme this week since Humberto Carillo also showed off a new entrance in the midst of online speculation that suggests that officials in WWE had given up on the star, but that was seemingly countered by the fact that Carrillo was part of this week’s main event.

The Kabuki Warriors were originally advertised to be facing Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a Women’s Tag Team Championship tonight on Raw, but interestingly the Raw Women’s Champion wasn’t in the arena for the second week in a row. Lynch hasn’t been seen on Raw since the week before Survivor Series and it appears that the matchup could have been changed at the last minute because Flair was forced into a handicap match.

It’s interesting to note that Flair and Lynch started teaming together in the UK because Natalya had to miss an episode of Raw and now it appears that Lynch has also left Flair behind, can Charlotte just not keep her partners happy?
