WWE Raw: Mustafa Ali Announces His Place in the Men’s Royal Rumble

WWE Royal Rumble takes place this weekend so this week’s episode of Raw was the final time for many stars to secure their places in their respective matches.

Ahead of this week’s episode of Raw, Sheamus and John Morrison announced that they would be part of the men’s match on social media.

Mustafa Ali became another addition to the match on Raw after Xavier Woods was able to defeat Slapjack. Ali continued his current feud with Kofi Kingston by announcing that he would be taking his place in the match this weekend after Kingston was ruled out with a broken jaw.

Kingston took Ali’s place in a match on SmackDown back in 2019 which led to Kingston becoming World Champion and Ali seemingly isn’t prepared to forget it.

R-Truth was given the chance to qualify for the Royal Rumble match if he could defeat AJ Styles in a match on Raw, but the 24/7 Champion came up short.

As of writing, 15 men have announced their places in the Men’s Royal Rumble match while 12 women make up the Women’s version of the match.

This means that there are still many places left for both Royal Rumble matches ahead of SmackDown and several places for surprise entrants and returnees.
