Two weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, Nia Jax was suspended indefinitely without pay when she refused to apologize for attacking a WWE official.
The former Women’s Champion had attacked Pat Buck the week before when she and Shayna Baszler were involved in a brawl and instead of apologizing for becoming physical with an official, Jax tried to coerce Buck into an intergender match.
It wasn’t revealed how long Jax would be suspended for at the time, but this week on Raw, the Irresistible Force made her return when she invaded the match between Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Sasha Banks and Bayley in order to once again attack The Queen of Spades.
Baszler and Jax have stepped into a feud in recent weeks and it’s believed that the two women could be given the chance to settle their differences at SummerSlam.
Jax’s attack meant that Asuka was stuck in a two-on-one situation for much of the match before Baszler made her return and was able to pick up the win for her team when she tapped out the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
Ahead of the match, Baszler stated that whoever walks out of SummerSlam with the Raw Women’s Championship, she’s got next.
