Keith Lee debuts on Raw
Just two nights following his NXT Title loss to Karrion Kross at TakeOver: XXX, Keith Lee will be making his Monday Night RAW debut tonight at the Amway Center in Orlando.
Lee rightfully earned his main roster spot when he tussled with main roster Superstars, namely, Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman at Royal Rumble earlier this year. And let’s not forget his career-defining 1-on-1 encounter with Roman Reigns at last year’s Survivor Series Triple Threat Elimination Match.
With just a week left for Payback, what will be on Lee’s agenda as he arrives on RAW? And which Superstar will Blackzilla target for the upcoming PPV?
Aleister Black returns
Tonight, Aleister Black will return to the red brand as a guest on Kevin Owens’ “KO Show.”
The Anti-Hero was sidelined with an injury following a brutal beatdown at the hands of Seth Rollins and Murphy who viciously drove his right eye into the steel steps on the July 27th episode of RAW.
Black’s return to RAW on the night after SummerSlam shouldn’t be taken too lightly – the former NXT Champion will be out for revenge and the WWE Universe can expect him to unveil a new character just a week ahead of Payback.
Asuka ushers in her second reign
At SummerSlam, Asuka finally dethroned Sasha Banks to win her second RAW Women’s Title. It wasn’t easy for The Empress to recapture the gold, but fate finally smiled on her as she Asuka Locked her way to victory last night.
Now, Asuka is all set to kickoff her second reign in style as she prepares herself for a potential title defense this Sunday at Packback.
Drew McIntyre’s future
Fresh off a successful title defense against Randy Orton at SummerSlam, reigning WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will address the future of his title as he looks to further extend his legacy as a fighting champion.
It’s likely that The Legend Killer isn’t done with the Scottish Psychopath yet, so expect another singles showdown between the two hard-hitting Superstars come Payback.
