WWE Raw Preview, Jun 15: Backlash Fallout, Rey Mysterio Responds to Seth Rollins’ Invitation

Rey Mysterio responds to Seth Rollins’ invitation

Last Monday night, Seth Rollins crashed Rey Mysterio’s interview where Mr. 619 was busy providing an update on his status after the horrific eye injury inflicted on him by The Monday Night Messiah. Rollins then invited Rey Mysterio and his son to appear on RAW this week.

The masked veteran’s previous appearance on the red brand was nothing short of a nightmare but things could be very different this time as Dominick would be accompanying his father to The Messiah’s den.

Will Mysterio and Dominick accept Rollins’ invitation to appear on this week’s RAW?

WWE Championship Fallout

Drew McIntyre claymored Bobby Lashley to retain the WWE Championship in a brutal title defense last night at Backlash. An interference on Lana’s part allowed the Sexy Scotsman to retain over The All Mighty.

What lies in store for Lashley, Lana and MVP tonight on RAW? And will McIntyre be willing to grant The Dominator a rematch down the line?

What’s next for Asuka?

Last night at Backlash, the RAW Women’s Championship match failed to yield a proper winner as Asuka and Nia Jax’s title clash ended in a double count-out.

The Empress Of Tomorrow managed to retain her title but The Irresistible Force will be looking to get another shot at the prestigious gold. Along with it, Charlotte Flair’s two back-to-back victories over the reigning champ has cemented The Queen’s status as a strong contender for the title.

What’s next for Asuka and the RAW Women’s Title as WWE heads towards Extreme Rules?

Randy Orton’s new prey

Randy Orton dominated Edge to emerge victorious in the “Greatest Wrestling Match Ever” last night at Backlash. The Rated R Superstar reportedly suffered an injury and now that The Viper has settled the score, he could be on the hunt for a new prey.
