It was thought that when The Miz was moved over to Monday Night Raw, his feud with Shane McMahon had come to an end, but this isn’t the case. Instead, the two stars have continued their rivalry despite Shane McMahon being the Commissioner of SmackDown Live.
This week on Monday Night Raw, The Miz returned to Miz TV with his guest Bobby Lashley which later turned into a match between the two men. Shane McMahon then made his present known when he cost The A Lister the win over Lashley to seemingly push forward their feud.
Miz and Shane McMahon were once SmackDown Tag Team Champions before Miz cost them the titles back at Fastlane and McMahon then turned on his friend and attacked both him and his father.
This led to a match between the two men at WrestleMania where McMahon picked up the win over Miz after he was suplexed off the top of a lighting structure. As already stated, this feud was believed to have been over following the Superstar Shakeup, but it appears that The Miz wants a final grudge match against Shane and he wants to ensure that this time Shane O’Mac won’t be getting away.
Miz proposed that the two men collide at Money in the Bank inside a steel cage and Shane McMahon not only accepted the challenge, but offered to buy his father a front row ticket to the show as well.
A steel cage match could finally signal the end of the rivalry between the two men, after what has been an interesting few months for both of the stars, but it would allow both Miz and McMahon to move on ahead of The Biggest Party Of The Summer.
