WWE Raw: The Fiend Targets Randy Orton

Randy Orton won the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre back at Hell in a Cell but now the 14-time World Champion has a huge target on his back.

Orton now has to look over his shoulder for former Champion McIntyre, Mr. Money in the Bank The Miz, and interestingly The Fiend.

It was in the Firefly Fun House that Bray Wyatt made it clear that there were still issues that needed to be resolved between Orton and Wyatt. After all, Wyatt did never get his rematch for the WWE Championship back in 2017.

The picture of Orton burning down what was thought to be Sister Abigail’s final resting place at The Wyatt Family Compound made an appearance in the Fun House before The Fiend later targeted the new WWE Champion.

Orton was a guest on “A Moment of Bliss” in the main event of Monday Night Raw and even though it was made clear that The Fiend had some unfinished business, Drew McIntyre was the one who instigated a brawl.

The Viper made the decision to head back into the ring and brawl with the former Champion rather than face The Fiend at the end of the episode, but at some point, The Viper will be forced to face his past.
