The IIconics have been missing from WWE TV since August last year, but the duo finally made their long-awaited return this week when they interrupted Moment of Bliss with The Women’s Tag Team Champions and were looking for a title shot.
Cross and Bliss accepted the challenge but refused to put the Championships on the line. This lead to a tag team match between the four women where The IIconics were able to pin the Champions following their new finisher. This means that Cross and Bliss will now have new challengers heading into Backlash next month.
While she has been away from WWE TV, Peyton Royce married long time boyfriend Shawn Spears who was known as Tye Dillinger in WWE.
MVP has been hanging around Monday Night Raw ever since he made his return back at the Royal Rumble looking to offer his services to anyone who would take them. Edge turned him down and delivered an RKO on a steel chair, but it appears that Bobby Lashley could have decided to take him up on his offer.
Following Lashley’s victory earlier tonight on Raw, the former Intercontinental Champion was approached by MVP backstage where he talked about his new full nelson finisher and the fact that he deserved to be given a shot at the WWE Championship. MVP later bumped into Lana, who he referred to as a cage holding Lashley back, before telling her to make sure Lashley approached him if he wanted a new manager.
It appears that MVP and The Almighty could be joining together at some point, since MVP could be the talker that Lashley has needed in his corner since his return.
MVP also noted that Drew McIntyre had announced that Baron Corbin was heading over to face him from SmackDown when Lashley could be his challenger on Raw.
