WWE released a top executive from the company, and others could follow. This announcement was made today, but the release took place on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.
WWE has let go of several individuals, wrestlers, and non-wrestling staff in 2020, and yet another major name has been shown the door this week.
According to PWInsider, John Brody, the Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sale and Partnership and Head of International, was fired from his position earlier this week, and WWE is looking to terminate the contracts of several other top corporate staff.
It was reported that a major part of Brody’s team was furloughed back in April. His division was recently transferred under Stephanie McMahon.
Brody was with the company for nearly six years and had a role as an advisor prior to joining the company in this role.
