This week’s news has been dominated by tributes to former WWE superstar Luke Harper who went on to be known as Mr. Brodie Lee in AEW.
Lee passed away on Saturday following a lung issue which was reportedly not related to COVID-19 and both WWE and AEW as companies, have since paid their respects.
WWE showed a graphic at the beginning of Raw on Monday before allowing many of their stars to pay their own personal tributes, but the company was hit by negative feedback from the WWE Universe following Raw.
Many fans including former star Curt Hawkins believed that WWE owed Lee much more after he spent almost eight years with the company.
Earlier this week, it was reported that WWE had filmed several tributes to the former star, and finally, following AEW’s emotional tribute show last night, WWE has released their own video.
Their video shows the likes of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, Tyson Kidd, Adam Pearce, and several others talking about their favorite memories of Lee.
It’s obvious that this is just a handful of WWE stars whose lives were touched by Lee and he’s a wrestler who won’t be forgotten by the wrestling world anytime soon.
