WWE Removes Sting’s Merchandise From Their Shop

WWE Hall of Famer Sting’s contract with WWE got expired quite some time ago, and the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement on a Legends Deal, which is usually given by WWE to their retired superstars.

Sting’s action figure was removed from the Mattel line last year, and now all the merchandise relating to the Stinger has disappeared from the official website.

This is similar to how Brock Lesnar’s deal with WWE ended, with the company removing all the products relating to the Beast. It was rumored that WrestleMania 36 was the last PPV for Lesnar according to his contract.

Sting hasn’t appeared in WWE for a long time, with his last appearance during the 2016 Hall of Fame. Sting wrestled for a year in 2015, before an injury forced him to hang up his boots.

A dream match between Sting and Undertaker was rumored quite often, but with both the stars retired and Sting no longer in a working agreement with the company, it’s safe to assume that’s never going to happen.
