2019 is bound to be a very interesting year for the professional wrestling industry as WWE looks to cough up the big dough to sign the hottest independent circuit wrestlers and counter NJPW’s wild offers to McMahon’s Superstars.

As reported by Ringside News, Jon Peisich noted on the Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that  WWE is ready to make huge offers to Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Hangman PageThe Elite – the hottest wrestlers of the independent circuit.

Rhodes, a former WWE Superstar, had already said that The Elite will stay together as they make their next move.

It would be interesting to see if The Elite is ready to sign on the dotted line and swallow WWE’s offers given the hottest faction has time and again publicly stated that neither member has any intention of accepting any of WWE’s offers.

“Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega — they’re all free agents in January. WWE because of Roman Reigns being out with the series leukemia have made or are about to make a huge, huge offer to not one — but all of them. It’s a deal where everybody is making the same.”

With Roman Reigns on a medical hiatus to fight his battle against Leukemia, WWE is forced to fire on all cylinders to stay profitable and ahead of its rivals. NJPW is looking to bring back Shinsuke Nakamura, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson as it continues to make gigantic offers to some of the biggest WWE stars.

If Vince McMahon is able to sign The Elite, fans can see Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega‘s rivalry jump to bigger heights in WWE itself.

The Elite is definitely a money generating machine and brings with it huge drawing power and over-the-top attention. WWE wouldn’t be looking to give up on this opportunity since it has a huge timeslot to fill on Fox from October 2019.
