WWE Reportedly Not Bringing Back Fans Inside the New Thunderdome

WWE officially confirmed their new home for Thunderdome, as beginning with the December 11th episode of Smackdown, the company will move to Tropicana Field for their tapings.

The stadium, which is used for baseball matches, has a capacity of over 40,000, but the seats will remain empty during the shows, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

With Florida opening up the state, several fans felt that they would get a chance to get a seat at the shows, but WWE isn’t planning on doing the same.

“WWE officials told us that right now there are no plans for allowing spectators, even with the size of the facility, which holds 42,735 fans for baseball.”

AEW has allowed a limited amount of fans in the audience for their Dynamite and PPV shows at the Daily’s Place. However, it was reported recently that the company is struggling to sell tickets.
