The Showstopper, Mr. Wrestlemania, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels has been widely hailed as Coach Michaels ever since he came back to the WWE Performance Center for his job with NXT as a television producer.

Eight years into retirement and Michaels might be back to in-ring action for one last time.

According to SkySports, WWE could be offering a whopping $2 million to Shawn Michaels to step back into the ring for one match.

Even though Michaels has always resisted the temptation of “one more match”, the insane amount of money for just one match could possible lead him to change his mind.

Again, a few months ago, Mr. WrestleMania himself gave the strongest hint of “one more match” in an interview where his exact words were:

“I think it’s one of those that you would never say never about and if it was just for a one-off then it’s something that I would take a look at.”

Last week on Monday Night RAW, HBK returned to WWE TV to hype The Undertaker vs. Triple H  scheduled for WWE Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia. Michaels might reprise his role as Special Guest Referee from WrestleMania 28 for the upcoming Last Time Ever match.

The segment featured The Undertaker return to WWE TV as both legends had an exciting verbal exchange that has led to the entire pro-wrestling world speculating that WWE might be pushing Michaels for one more match against The Deadman at WrestleMania.

Although pro-wrestling fans have always longed for a Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles dream match, The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels wouldn’t hurt WWE’s business in any manner whatsoever.

At the end of the day, the 52-year-old Showstopper would be taking home a cool $2 million regardless of who his opponent is for the much-anticipated “one more match”.
