Lars Sullivan vignettes began being played at Survivor Series this past weekend and it’s already been revealed that the Monster is set to make his way over to the blue brand after SmackDown was absolutely destroyed by Raw at Survivor Series.
Sullivan has been given a huge push on NXT over the past few months and has shockingly been given the green light to be promoted to the main roster in the coming weeks.
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, WWE is set to give Lars Sullivan the same kind of monster push that was given to Braun Strowman when he was promoted to the main roster a few years ago.
“So there’s no destination for Lars Sullivan you know like, ‘Oh he’s gonna feud with Braun Strowman’ or he may or whatever. Very much like he’s not… the plan is that, and again, god only knows… but the plan is he’s getting a big-time push just like Braun Strowman did almost exactly because I bet you do they do the exact same thing because they’re very patterned right now which isn’t a good thing.”
“But I’m betting that they do the exact same thing as they did with Braun Strowman years ago that they’ll do with Lars and try to you know but yeah, he’s Vince’s kinda guy,” he said via Ringsidenews.
Sullivan could easily be built up on the SmackDown brand since there is no monster right now aside from Samoa Joe, who could easily be kept away from him until the time is right. There are enough stars to job out to the former NXT star in the coming months, but it appears that before he is able to make it to the Blue Brand, he needs to get past Keith Lee in NXT.
Lee targeted Sullivan following his match at Takeover: WarGames 2 and the duo are now set to collide on NXT next week.
